[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”11743″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Thousands of workers are severely injured in forklift accidents every year. But people who get hurt include both pedestrians and forklift operators themselves. In addition to the human cost, there’s also the damage these accidents due to materials facilities and the forklifts. All Government construction projects have written requirements for load handling equipment that’s taken very seriously.
A forklift is designed to raise, transport and lower heavy loads and get in and out of tight places easily because of their narrow wheelbase. General Safety Requirements must always be followed in addition to the requirements USACE, and NAVFAC set forth.[/vc_column_text][ultimate_heading main_heading=”Common Hazards of Forklift Operations”][/ultimate_heading][vc_single_image image=”11744″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Fortunately, the Government has put several safety requirements in place that must be followed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][icon_counter border_size=”2″ border_color=”#0d5981″ icon=”dt-icon-the7-play-large” icon_size=”32″ icon_style=”circle” text_color=”#0d5981″ desc_color=”#000000″ bg_color=”rgba(88,136,137,0.17)” block_title_front=”OPERATION” block_desc_front=”Operate the forklift according to Manufacturer Instructions” block_title_back=”OPERATION” block_desc_back=”Copy of Manufacturer Instructions inside cab” height_type=”ifb-custom-height” box_height=”300″ title_font=”font_family:Roboto|font_call:Roboto|variant:700″ title_font_style=”font-weight:700;” desc_font=”font_family:Roboto|font_call:Roboto|variant:500″ desc_font_style=”font-weight:500;” title_font_size=”desktop:22px;tablet:20px;tablet_portrait:19px;mobile_landscape:18px;mobile:17px;” title_font_line_height=”desktop:23px;” desc_font_size=”desktop:19px;tablet:18px;tablet_portrait:17px;mobile_landscape:16px;mobile:15px;” desc_font_line_height=”desktop:20px;”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][icon_counter border_size=”2″ border_color=”#0d5981″ icon=”dt-icon-the7-play-large” icon_size=”32″ icon_style=”circle” text_color=”#0d5981″ desc_color=”#000000″ bg_color=”rgba(88,136,137,0.17)” block_title_front=”SEATBELT” block_desc_front=”If the forklift has a seatbelt, wear it” block_title_back=”REQUIREMENT” block_desc_back=”It’s Mandatory” height_type=”ifb-custom-height” box_height=”300″ title_font=”font_family:Roboto|font_call:Roboto|variant:700″ title_font_style=”font-weight:700;” desc_font=”font_family:Roboto|font_call:Roboto|variant:500″ desc_font_style=”font-weight:500;” title_font_size=”desktop:22px;tablet:20px;tablet_portrait:19px;mobile_landscape:18px;mobile:17px;” title_font_line_height=”desktop:23px;” desc_font_size=”desktop:19px;tablet:18px;tablet_portrait:17px;mobile_landscape:16px;mobile:15px;” desc_font_line_height=”desktop:20px;”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][icon_counter border_size=”2″ border_color=”#0d5981″ icon=”dt-icon-the7-play-large” icon_size=”32″ icon_style=”circle” text_color=”#0d5981″ desc_color=”#000000″ bg_color=”rgba(88,136,137,0.17)” block_title_front=”LOAD” block_desc_front=”Never exceed the rated load” block_title_back=”CAPACITY” block_desc_back=”Stay within the forklift truck’s load capacity.
