Module 12: Accident Prevention Tags

Hazard examples would be things like, defective tools, equipment, caution orders. and tags for hazardous energy control.[/ultimate_heading][vc_single_image image=”12073″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”5/6″][vc_column_text]Tags must contain either DANGER or CAUTION, but never both. They will also contain a major message which can either be pictographs, written text, or both. This major message must indicate the specific hazardous condition or the instruction to be communicated to the workers.

The signal word must be readable at a minimum distance of 5 feet or such greater distance as warranted by the hazard.
