This course covers, in detail, important requirements for the following activities and circumstances on Government construction projects:
- Program Management
- Sanitation
- Medical and First Aid
- Temporary Facilities
- Personal Protective and Safety Equipment
- Hazardous or Toxic Agents and Environments
At the end of this lesson, the learner will be able to:
- Implement Program Management
- Mitigate and remove sanitation hazards
- Administer medical and first aid on many injuries onsite
- Ensure personnel are wearing proper protective and safety equipment
- Recognize, mitigate, and remove hazardous or toxic agents to the environment.
Criterion Statements:
Given the conditions above, a learner who successfully completes this course will be able to identify construction safety hazards. Additionally, they will implement the plans and procedures necessary to effectively mitigate those hazardsFurthermore, the degree of this achievement becomes evident when the learner successfully passes all quizzes with a score of 70% or higher.
