Transparency in Instructor Proprietary Interest Disclosure

At TITAN University (TU), Instructor Proprietary Interest Disclosure is a fundamental part of our commitment to transparency. Prior to any learning event, we will disclose any instructor’s proprietary interest in products, instruments, devices, services, or materials. Additionally, we provide Instructor Proprietary Interest Disclosure for any third-party compensation related to the event. This policy applies to all TU employees, learners, and users of our platforms, thereby ensuring clarity and fairness in every educational offering. By adhering to these guidelines, we maintain transparency and uphold our commitment to impartiality. Consequently, this approach fosters a trustworthy and equitable learning environment for everyone involved.

Instructional Materials and Branding Approval

TU ensures that all instructional materials reflect proper Disclosure of Instructor Interests. If no proprietary interests exist, TU will publish a disclaimer in marketing and instructional content.. TU also reserves the right to review and approve any branding associated with disclosed interests. This ensures that all materials adhere to our standards of professionalism and impartiality.

Use of Commercial Products in Instruction

TU instructors do not promote the exclusive use of any commercial product. Discussions about Disclosure of Instructor Interests should always remain within the context of the lesson. Instructors also discuss alternative products or comparable companies to provide a balanced view, ensuring learners have multiple options.

Disclosure Process for Instructors

Upon being assigned to a learning event, instructors immediately disclose any relevant proprietary interests. They then report these interests to their supervisor, the training coordinator, CTE, and Human Resources. f new interests arise after marketing materials are produced, instructors promptly provide written disclosure to learners at the start of the course. This keeps all parties informed and maintains transparency throughout the instructional process.

Record Keeping and Compliance

TU documents all disclosures as part of the official event record. Instructors cannot present or assist in any learning event until they fully complete the Disclosure of Instructor Interests.Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action. This policy ensures that TU remains committed to providing unbiased, transparent education.
