How do I find my certificate?
There are a few places you’ll find your certificate.
First
As soon as you pass your course, a button to download your certificate will display towards the top of your screen.
Second
On the dropdown menu, using your mouse, hover over the link “Courses”. You’ll then be able to click on or Certificates”.
Third
You can also find a certificate link on the far-left sidebar of the same screen you’re on now. Your certificates are located within the 4th icon down which looks like a piece of paper.

Where can I find the downloadable course materials?
At the start of your course, click the Course Materials icon at the top of the first module to download the materials. Alternatively, a “Download Course Materials” link is available at the top of each module. You only need to download once; the link on every page is just a reminder to do so before it’s too late.

What defines a confined space?
A defined space is defined as a space with any one of the following characteristics:
- A space that’s large enough that a person can physically enter the space and perform work.
- A space that is not designed for continuous worker occupancy.
- A space that has limited or impeded openings for entry and exit.
- Is not designed for continuous human occupancy.
- Contains a hazard which may pose an illness or injury.
We will go into what defines a confined space and requirements you should know within the Confined Space Course.
What is required for Confined Space Entry?
The employer must provide training to all employees whose work will involve confined space activities.
Training shall be provided to each affected employee before the employee is first assigned confined space duties, before there is a change in assigned duties, and whenever there is a change in permit space operations that presents a hazard about which an employee has not previously been trained. We cover this and more in the confined space course.
When is atmospheric testing for confined space done?
Evaluation testing is done and reviewed by technically qualified professional such as a Competent Person for Confined Spaces prior to confined space entry
Verification testing. The atmosphere of a permit space which may contain a hazardous atmosphere should be tested for residues of all contaminants identified by evaluation testing. We cover this and more in the confined space course.
